TYPE OF WINE
100 % CABERNET SAUVIGNON: This variety endures well the ageing because of its high contents in tannins and acidity. It produces wines with a medium to high alcohol content. In the case of Ca’n Feliu we rely on this to achieve wines with a high longevity, as well as with body and structure. This variety provides black fruits and smoky aromas and some spicy essences.
YEAR: 2015. Temperatures that year were somewhat lower than those of other years, as well as the rainfall level. It was a rather dry year, which could have affected the quality of the grape, but in the case of Ca’n Feliu drip irrigation is used, so a limited but balanced harvest was obtained, resulting in wines with good body and acidity.
