Type of Wine
Handpicked and selected grapes from our vineyards situated in Porreres (Mallorca – the Balearic Islands). Grapes are collected in individual crates with a capacity of 15-20 kg. and immediately transported to the winery where they are cooled for 24-48 hours to under 5ᵒ C to avoid premature fermentation.
Traditional winemaking methods without the addition of yeasts or bacteria (following the DEMETER INTERNATIONAL standards). Fermentation and keeping at controlled temperatures.
12-15 months of aging in new French oak.
Visual: cherry red with some violet reflections. Medium intensity – high.
Nose:clearly representative of the variety, as aromas of ripe black fruit emerge, as well as a slightly spicy touch. Afterwards, a slightly smoky and roasted note contributed by the barrel aging.
Service temperature: 15 – 17 C or approximately.
Pairing: game, meats and poultry, including fatty fish. Also, pasta and rice dishes.
